Gateway to Siargao

Siargao Island is served by Sayak Airport (IAO), a small domestic airport with daily connections from Manila (MNL) and Cebu (CEB). Most international travellers fly into Manila or Cebu and catch a short domestic flight to Siargao — the final leg is just 1 to 1.5 hours.

From Europe

  • ➤ Fly London, Paris, or Amsterdam → Manila (MNL) ~12–14 hrs (often via a Middle East hub)
  • ➤ Then Manila → Siargao (IAO) ~1.5 hrs

Airlines: Emirates, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines + Cebu Pacific / PAL domestic

From USA

  • ➤ Fly LA, SFO, or NYC → Manila (MNL) ~13–16 hrs (direct from LAX or via Seoul/Tokyo)

Travel Tips

Book Early

Flights to Siargao can fill up quickly, especially during peak surf season (September–November). Book domestic legs at least a few weeks ahead.

Best Time to Fly

Siargao enjoys warm weather year-round. The dry season runs from March to October, making it the most popular time to visit.

Sayak Airport

Sayak (IAO) is a small, single-runway airport. Expect a relaxed arrival — grab your bags and step outside to meet your transfer driver.

Airport Transfers
