Siargao Island

The Surfing Capital of the Philippines

The Island

A Tropical Paradise Like No Other

Siargao is a tear-drop shaped island in the Philippine Sea, located in the province of Surigao del Norte. What was once a hidden surfers' secret has blossomed into one of Southeast Asia's most exciting destinations — yet it still retains its raw, untouched charm.

With pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear lagoons, lush coconut palm forests, and mangrove-lined waterways, Siargao is the perfect base for adventure, relaxation, and everything in between.

Things to Do in Siargao

Sugba Lagoon
Jungle exploration

Cloud 9 Surfing

The legendary reef break that put Siargao on the map. Whether you're a beginner catching whitewater or an advanced surfer chasing barrels, Cloud 9 and its surrounding breaks deliver world-class waves year-round.

Sugba Lagoon

A stunning emerald lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs and dense mangroves. Rent a kayak or paddleboard, go cliff jumping, or simply float in the impossibly clear water.

Magpupungko Rock Pools

At low tide, natural tidal pools form among dramatic rock slabs, creating perfect swimming holes with crystal-clear water. A truly unique Siargao experience.

Island Hopping

Hop between Naked Island (a pure sandbar), Daku Island (palm trees and fresh seafood lunches), and Guyam Island (a tiny palm-covered paradise) — the classic Siargao day trip.

Sohoton Cove

A hidden cave and lagoon system accessible by boat. Swim through narrow cave passages into a secret jellyfish sanctuary — one of Siargao's most magical experiences.

Maasin River & Coconut Road

Swing from a rope into a palm-lined river, then ride a motorbike down the famous coconut-tree-lined road — the most photographed spot on the island.

Food & Nightlife

General Luna is packed with excellent restaurants — fresh seafood, Filipino fusion, wood-fired pizza, smoothie bowls, and craft cocktails at sunset bars. The nightlife is relaxed but lively.

Yoga & Wellness

Multiple studios offer daily yoga classes with ocean views. Treat yourself to a traditional hilot massage, sound healing session, or wellness retreat during your stay.

Diving & Snorkelling

Explore vibrant coral reefs, underwater caves, and diverse marine life at sites around the island. PADI courses available for beginners.
